CIVITAS to present at major transport research conference
The CIVITAS Initiative will hold a special session at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) in Athens to present new ideas and innovative success stories in the field of urban sustainable transport across Europe.
The session will take place from 18:05 to 19:20 on 24 April and focus on the role of evaluation of local activities. Participants will receive first-hand information about how and why cities have evaluated their sustainable mobility activities and how the evaluation approach has changed over the different phases of the Initiative. Interesting topics and accomplished speakers promise a thought-provoking session: Introducing CIVITAS, Ivo Cré, CIVITAS VANGUARD, Polis Evaluation methodologies throughout the three phases of CIVITAS, Mike MacDonald, CIVITAS POINTER, TRG Long-term evaluation of CIVITAS measures, Bernd Decker, CIVITAS CATALIST, Rupprecht Consult Local experiences, Katrin Dziekan, CIVITAS MIMOSA, TU Berlin CIVITAS will also have a stand at the exhibition of the event. In parallel to the TRA, the second workshop in the series “Effective solutions for green urban transport – Learning from CIVITAS cities” will take place.
