DynamiCity

About the project
DynamiCity brings together 27 partners and 9 associated partners from 18 European countries to unlock the health potential of walking, cycling and micro-mobility, positioning active travel as a strategic tool for cancer prevention and survivorship.
The project develops human-centred interventions across five levels — individual, community, digital, infrastructure and policy — implemented in 12 living labs, including 6 net-zero cities. DynamiCity supports its 6 follower cities in achieving a 15% reduction in GHG emissions and a 30% increase in walking and cycling in their demonstrator areas, while twinning activities extend these benefits to more than 5 additional European cities.
By combining infrastructure change, behavioural interventions and integrated policies, DynamiCity breaks down silos between the health and transport sectors, feeding its results into EU guidance on active mobility and cancer prevention. Â
