Implementing sustainable mobility

Adapting good practices in SUMP will assure exchange of the best planning and implementation methods. Sustainable urban mobility goals will be delivered by enabling participation of municipal experts in the project’s partner meeting(s).

Klaipeda city municipality is intending to present experience of other European countries to Klaipeda’s residents and other interested bodies.

This will helo raise public awareness if different mobility patterns and their impact on quality of life in cities. Furthermore, Klaipeda City Municipality will disseminate significant information about urban mobility to a wide audience. This assignment will be achieved by cooperation with the administration of port, various non-profit organisations, and local communities.
