Easy, safe and comfortable cycling and walking year-round
Summary
The objective of this measure is to increase the year-round traffic flows of cycling and walking by making the current infrastructure easier, safer and more comfortable to use.
Implementing sustainable mobility
The winter provides particularly large potential for increasing cycling. Therefore a study on available winter maintenance will be performed. After the study the winter methods that show the greatest potential will be piloted. Also, a study of the condition of the main cycle network will be performed leading to a renewal plan and infrastructure improvements.
