The third (and final!) CIVITAS ELEVATE Regional City Exchange Workshop will take place in Brno (CZ) on 19-20 September 2022. The workshop, which is being held back-to-back with the Urban Mobility Days 2022, will focus on sustainable mobility and transport planning at the city-regional level. It will consist of two parts:
- An afternoon of sessions held in English on 19 September from 12:00-17:00 CEST.
- A morning of sessions held in Czech on 20 September from 9:00-12:30 CEST.
Sharing, learning, and active contribution to the discussion are critical components of this workshop, which will explore sustainable mobility and transport planning at the city-regional level. As such, registration is on a first-come-first-served basis, and is limited to only 30 participants per day – so be sure to register now!
Why city-regional level planning?
Throughout the Czech Republic, a number of “core cities” (like Brno) and their surrounding municipalities form officially-recognised agglomerations. The Brno Metropolitan Agglomeration is made up of over 140 municipalities! CIVITAS, the City of Brno, and the CIVINET Czech & Slovak Republics have put together a workshop programme that draws on Brno’s experiences ensuring sustainable and useable mobility across this diverse area.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge, and all participants are invited to join the organisers for dinner on 19 September.
