SCALE-UP Webinar Series: Aligning policy & multilevel governance for smart mobility

As part of the SCALE-UP Project's final outreach, two upcoming webinars will explore how cities can evolve into climate-resilient, well-connected urban nodes within the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

Under the title "Cities as TEN-T urban nodes: Governance, integration, & policy coherence," the sessions will present insights and lessons learned from the SCALE-UP Urban Nodes: Antwerp, Madrid, and Turku. Drawing on real-world experience, they will offer practical strategies and final policy recommendations for urban transport governance and planning.

The webinars are particularly relevant for other cities, metropolitan areas, transport authorities, and regional or national authorities. We strongly encourage all interested stakeholders to attend and engage with the findings.

Participants will gain insights into the following topics:

• Strengthening policy coherence and horizontal integration between sectors and institutions;
• Developing effective multilevel governance models;
• Enhancing vertical integration across local, regional, and EU levels;
• Practical tools and recommendations based on pilot actions in Antwerp, Madrid, and Turku.
