On the 22nd of May 2008, Odense hosted a cycle workshop with the title Reinventing the bicycle in modern society - mobility culture and travel behaviour. The speakers for the day were all experts in the field of cycling. Odense, as thematic leader in the field of cycling, shared its knowledge both in connection to promoting cycling as well as how to become a city for cyclists.Beside Odense experts from Europe spoke about cycling in different contexts. The workshop was followed by a guided cycle tour on the 23rd of May in the city.
