CIVITAS MOBILIS Ljubljana - Alternative Fuels and Clean Vehicles - One aim, different solutions?

On 8 October 2008, Ljubljana hosted a workshop entitled “Alternative Fuels and Clean Vehicles - One aim, different solutions?”.The speakers for the day were all experts in the field of alternative fuels and clean vehicles. There were a wide range of presentations from MOBILIS cities and other CIVITAS cities on their experiences in the implementation and promotion of cleaner transport. Presentations addressed the issue of biofuels, other alternative fuels such as CNG vehicles, as well as electric and hybrid drives. Next to the CIVITAS presentations, the workshop also featured presentations from external speakers on the EU policy on alternative fuels and clean vehicles and on the development and future of hybrid diesel-electric buses.The workshop aimed to foster the discussion on the road to zero emission mobility in Europe.
