FastTrack

FastTrack helps cities accelerate the roll-out of sustainable mobility innovations through knowledge-exchange and capacity building.

About the project

FastTrack works with 24 urban and peri-urban areas to help them accelerate (or ‘fast track’) their deployment of sustainable mobility innovations. This work is structured around four topical clusters, each led by an Ambassador (Antwerp, Bologna, Budapest, or Stockholm).

What is innovative in one local area may be well-established in another. That is no problem for FastTrack! Through knowledge-sharing, capacity-building events, expert inputs, and various research methods, the project meets cities where they are, and supports them all to fast track their transition to truly sustainable transport.

By the end of the project, each of the 24 FastTrack areas will have developed sustainable mobility deployment plans to ensure that those innovations they have identified and planned are implemented smoothly and quickly. Only through accelerated, urgent action will cities and towns be able to achieve the transformation needed to secure a sustainable future for all.
