CIVITAS FORUM 2015 – The call for speakers is now open!
The CIVITAS Forum Conference Secretariat invites speakers to contribute for the CIVITAS FORUM 2015 with presentations for parallel sessions and Pecha kucha sessions.
This year, the CIVITAS Forum Conference will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia between 7th and 9th October 2015. The theme of the Conference will be “Sharing the city” with a focus on sustainable urban mobility as an important drive to build an accessible and livable city for all, as well as to constantly improve the quality of urban life.
The discussions and exchanges of experiences, on how to share the physical and social space of the city in the best way possible will significantly contribute to further define and implement innovative, smart and sustainable mobility solutions in European cities and beyond.
If you are interested in participating as a speaker, please read the call for speakers guidelines and complete the proposal form available in the download area below or in CIVITAS FORUM 2015 page and send it to forum [dot] contributions [at] civitas [dot] eu.
Your proposal should be submitted before the 24th April 2015
For contributing to a parallel session: various presentation slots of around 10-15 minutes are available across the parallel sessions. Each proposal abstract submitted should include 4-6 keywords and identify the main topic addressed among a defined list of themes.
For contributing to Pecha kucha sessions: various presentation slots across the Pecha kucha sessions. Pecha kucha sessions are opened for all CIVITAS FORUM 2015 participants and speakers.
The CIVITAS Forum Programme Committee, which consists of the leading organisers together with the European Commission, will evaluate all submissions. Selected speakers will be contacted by mid-May, when they will be invited to confirm their participation.
Upon acceptance of your proposal for a parallel session, you will be asked to prepare a 10-15 minutes presentation. For the Pecha kucha sessions, you will need to compile a presentation consisting of 20 images that will run for 20 seconds each.
