Call for hosting the CIVITAS Forum Conference in 2018 - deadline extended
CIVITAS Forum Network cities can apply to host the CIVITAS Forum Conference in 2018.
The deadline for applications to host has now been extended to 14 July 2017!
The Conference is the annual flagship event of the CIVITAS Forum Network of cities and is a major conference in the field of urban mobility.
Hosting it offers an excellent opportunity for a city to showcase and share its successes and achievements in the field of clean and sustainable urban transport. With high media interest and the presence of high-ranking politicians, the Forum provides a city with the chance to place itself at the forefront of the sustainable urban transport community.
Each conference attracts around 400 experts in the field, including local politicians, mobility practitioners, academics, and representatives of non-governmental organisations. Furthermore, hosting such a flagship event serves as an occasion to put your city on the international map!
The 2018 conference will mark the event's 16th year. This year's Forum is being hosted in Torres Vedras, whilst previous fora have taken place in cities including Brest, Malmö, and Graz, where the conference started in 2003.
