Summary
In this measure 10 different electric vehicles (e-bikes, e-cargobikes, e-vans, e-cars) will be tested together with different awareness raising methods for e-mobility in different city departments.
Implementing sustainable mobility
With ten pilot vehicles this will save around 10 tonnes of CO2 per year and on a longer scale with an electrification of 5% of Turku’s regional fleet a CO2 reduction of around 7500 tonnes per year can be achieved. The demonstration will resulted with increased efficiency of the use of the city fleet and reduced need for the use of own car on work travel.
