Webinar on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans

ONLINE, Belgium

Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans define a set of interrelated measures designed to satisfy the mobility needs of people and businesses today and tomorrow. They are the result of an integrated planning approach and address all modes and forms of transport in cities and their surrounding area.

Since the EU is using SUMPs as a precondition for certain financing, it is one of the hottest debated topics of the moment.

On 5 March we held a webinar on the subject. The programma was filled with experience from cities. Some are already far ahead (and might win an award soon), others are just beginning to implement an SUMP and feeling the pressure. Goudappel Coffeng gave an overview of the status of SUMPs in the Netherlands. The webinar was from 14:30- 16:00 (CET) on 5th March.
