Next UITP conference will advise on " Sustainable Mobility on a tight budget: how to unlock growth opportunities for your city?". It is hosted by Nantes Métropole, from the 10th until the 12th of March 2013.
As the “European Green Capital” for the year 2013, Nantes is happy to welcome the annual conference of UITP on its territory. With the economic crisis, sustainability is no more a choice but has become a need. In order to succeed in doing more with less resources, cities have to make their environmental, social and economic priorities converge.
Nantes has been awarded the label of European Green Capital for the year 2013 thanks to its integrated strategy implemented to reach its goals. This conference will allow to share best practices and to better understand the opportunities for sustainable mobility and urban planning in European cities. It will also enable to think and think upon the success of Nantes.
