Why join?

HARMONY envisages developing a new generation of harmonised spatial and multimodal transport planning tools, which comprehensively model the dynamics of the changing transport sector and spatial organisation, enabling metropolitan area authorities to lead the transition to a low-carbon new mobility era. Through this work, HARMONY aims to: reduce congestion by 15%, reduce noise levels by 10%, increase lower-emissions trips by 10%, and increase intermodality by 10%.

HARMONY trainings are designed to train a new generation of spatial and transport planners. Students and consultants interested in low-carbon mobility are particularly invited to join these free of charge trainings to explore state-of-the-art planning methods, techniques to integrate traditional and new mobility services, and the HARMONY Model Suite, which was designed to assess multidimensional impacts of new mobility concepts. Participants will learn in a unique, hands-on environment.

HARMONY demos are open to policymakers and planner directly involved in urban and transport planning, with a focus on those working on zero-emission zones. The free and short demos will explain how policymakers and planners can understand and benefit from the HARMONY Model Suite.
