Join the first in a duo of online workshops on SUMPs as instruments of spatial planning

The German-speaking CIVINET will hold an online workshop (auf Deutsch) on SUMPs as instruments of spatial planning on 14 June 2022, 13:00-17:00 CEST.

This first of two online workshops will facilitate knowledge exchange on how Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) can be seen and used as key instruments of integrated spatial planning. It will address advantages of this framing (e.g. integration of new mobility & technology, reduction of commuter flows), and implementation (e.g. cooperation & coordination, integration of planning). The focus will be placed on different cooperation and spatial models, spanning urban-rural partnerships, metropolitan area perspectives, and transportation nodes, as well as on the role of SUMPs in the context of general municipal services.
