Integrating sustainable transport with other policies - now fully booked

DEPARTMENT FOR TRANSPORT LONDON, United Kingdom

Other

Integrating sustainable transport with other policies is vital given the increasing need to demonstrate value for money in public projects.

Working together effectively with colleagues in health, air quality, social inclusion, regeneration & economic development and climate change can significantly help deliver shared priorities. Our CIVINET UK & Ireland Autumn event will explore this joined up approach featuring a range of case studies from across the UK and Europe.

We're delighted to announce that Baroness Kramer, Minister of State for Transport will give the keynote speech. The final line up of speakers is:

  • Dr Stephen Watkins  - Public Health -  Stockport Council
  • Denise Adolphe / Leyla Laksari - Haringey Council / Living Under One Sun
  • Łukasz Franek - Krakow University of Technology / CIVINET Poland Secretariat
  • Paul Mathieson - Strategic Transport &  Planning Policy -  Southend-on-Sea Borough Council
  • Mark Barry - M&G Barry Consulting Ltd
  • Isabelle Maës -  Mobility and Transport - European Commission
  • Mark Cartwright - Real Time Information Group.

There will be plenty of opportunities for networking and interactive discussion, including Q&A with speakers.

This event will be valuable if you work in the sustainable transport or transport planning field – but will be equally useful  to people working in other related areas. Attendance is FREE if your organisation is a member of CIVINET UK & Ireland *– or £90 for non-members.

This event is now fully booked.
