European Research Funding for Cities and Regions seminar

An information and networking event organised by the UK & Ireland CIVITAS City Network and hosted by Merseytravel.The event gave attendees the opportunity to hear experts speak on opportunities and experience in European Research Funding. Topics included:

• Funding programmes - including CIVITAS, INTERREG, Intelligent Energy Europe;
• The pros and cons of being involved in European research and demonstration projects;
• Experience of UK local authorities who are involved in European Research programmes;
• Upcoming European Research Funding opportunities;
• Tips for writing successful bids; and
• Joining the UK & Ireland CIVITAS City Network.
