The European Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Congress (Wednesday 2nd till Friday 4th December 2015) with a Polis session on the 3rd on boosting electromobility'

    On the 3 December afternoon, Polis will organize together with the Life+ project 'boosting electromobility' (www.boostingelectromobility.eu ) a session at the European Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Congress

    In this project the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht and the Metropolitan Area of Amsterdam worked together through exchange of experiences and knowledge, to expand the public (fast) charging infrastructure and to jointly promote the use of electric taxi's and vans. The first part of the session will give an overview of the main actions taken in the Netherlands to promote electric mobility, including concrete examples from the electric taxis in Schiphol airport, the assessment of public charging infrastructure development and fast charging deployment. The second part of the session will look at the experiences from other European cities and include a presentation from Polis that will provide an overview of different European projects, best practice cases, challenges and needs from the local level.
