VENICE, Belgium

OtherCIVITAS Initiative

Local Politicians from the five CIVITAS MOBILIS cities met on the 13th of January in Venice to discuss “Planning and organising mobility at agglomeration level”. This was one of the projects policy themes and focused on how to coordinate actions at the right spatial scale as urban mobility does not stop at administrative or institutional boundaries. The contents of the debate were an important contribution to the policy recommendations which the project produced. The Venice local consortium also organised a site visit for its guests relating to this subject for the afternoon of the 13th of January. The MOBILIS consortium used this workshop to hold one of their regular meetings to discuss progress of measures, evaluation and dissemination on the 11th and 12th of January.
