The CIVITAS ELAN team in Brno held their Final Conference from 20 to 21 September 2012 in the Museum of Applied Arts in Brno.
The City of Brno with its partner Brno Public Transport Company have implemented a total of six measures since the project was launched in the city in 2008. The Final Conference presented the results of the measure including:
- A diagnostic system on ticket vending machines;
- Five low-floor mini-buses designed for wheelchair access;
- The Integrated Mobility Centre
- An urban transport plan for an effective public transport system; and
- Optimising the energy consumption of trams and trolleybuses.
There were representatives from the municipality, Brno Public Transport Company, The Statutory City of Ústí nad Labem, the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the coordinator of the Integrated Public Transport System of the South Moravian Region and more.
