Junik (Kosovo)

Junik is a town and municipality in the Gjakova District in western Kosovo. It is located between Deçan and Gjakova along Kosovo's mountainous border with Albania. 

Junik is working on the implementation of sustainable urban transport measures in cooperation with the Diplomatic Research and Policy Foundation (DRPF) as well as with the Technical Support from Prime Education. Its core goal is to improve accessibility and quality of life by achieving a shift towards sustainable mobility. Their main priority is to give more privileges to pedestrians. As a result of the work Junik is carrying out, the city is becoming a  tourist attraction for many Europeans.
