Banjaluka (Bosnia & Herzegovina)

Banjaluka is the second largest city in Bosnia Herzegovina and is home of various universities as well as entity and state buildings of the region and the country. The city lies on the Vrbas river and is well known for being full of tree-lined avenues, boulevards, gardens, and parks.pop

Banjaluka is committed to increasing the share of bicycle transportation, building a new bicycle infrastructure, and reducing the emission of greenhouse gases and other types of pollution. The challenges concern the economic environment, but also the political one. Currently, the preparation and development of the first urban mobility plan is in progress.
