CIVITAS Initiative calls for proposals to establish a CIVINET Ukraine Secretariat

CIVINET Ukraine Call

Shape the future of urban mobility in Ukraine! The CIVITAS Initiative seeks proposals for a CIVINET Ukraine Secretariat. Join us in advancing sustainable transport across Europe. Submit your proposal by Monday, 10 June 2024!

The CIVITAS Initiative is extending its reach to Ukraine. In a bid to enhance local, regional, and national capacity in sustainable transportation, CIVITAS is issuing a call for proposals to establish a CIVINET Ukraine Secretariat.

CIVINETs, the CIVITAS National Networks, serve as crucial platforms for engagement with European and national transport policies, legislation, and funding. Establishing a secretariat in Ukraine will not only strengthen connections within the CIVITAS Community but also foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and peer learning among Ukrainian cities and their European counterparts.

The selected secretariat will play a pivotal role in managing the network's activities, coordinating member engagement, and serving as the primary point of contact for CIVINET Ukraine. By aligning with CIVITAS's overarching goal of promoting smart, sustainable urban mobility practices, the establishment of the CIVINET Ukraine Secretariat aims to drive positive change in the transportation landscape of Ukraine and beyond.

Interested stakeholders from Ukraine are invited to submit their proposals for hosting and managing the CIVINET Ukraine Secretariat by Monday, 10 June 2024.

The establishment of CIVINET Ukraine marks a significant milestone in the journey towards sustainable urban mobility. Join us in shaping the future of transportation in Ukraine and contributing to a greener, more connected Europe.
