Tool Inventory

Welcome to the CIVITAS Urban Mobility Tool Inventory

The Tool Inventory provides access to a wide range of guidance materials, software, mobile apps, approaches, and other tools for sustainable urban mobility practitioners. To find the tool most relevant to your needs, you can filter the selection in several ways.

Click on an option in one of the main filter categories - such as "Integrated planning" in the Thematic Area filter - and you see only tools corresponding to that filter. Scroll down to find the other main filter categories; Application Area; Tool Type; Target Audience: and Language.

If you select multiple options from within a single category, for example "Data gathering" and "Evaluation and monitoring" from Application Area, then the system will display all the results that match either of those chosen filters.

If you select filters from different categories, such as “German” from Language and Software from “Tool Type”, then only tools matching both those filters are displayed. You can also use the general search bar to look for tools by name.

How to add content


The Tool Inventory is a joint product of the CIVITAS projects SATELLITE and SUMPs-UP. Please note: By including a tool, SATELLITE or SUMPs-UP do not imply an endorsement of the tool. The responsibility for the tools lies entirely with their providers.
