ULaaDS Replication Booklet
Dive into the ULaaDS Replication Booklet to learn about replicable urban logistics solutions that have been developed and tested by the project's three lighthouse cities: Bremen (Germany), Mechelen (Belgium), and Groningen (Netherlands).
Â
Replication and scaling up have been key objectives within the ULaaDS project, and the importance that other cities benefit from the experiences, challenges, and practices of the Lighthouse cities has been consistently stressed. Replication, in ULaaDS, was envisioned as the pathway towards the adoption of solutions by a wide range of cities, with four Satellite cities participating in the replication activities:Â Alba Iulia (Romania),
Bergen (Norway), Edinburgh (UK), and Rome (Italy).
Project partners and participants from the Lighthouse and Satellite cities engaged in a three-year replication programme that was designed to facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building. This programme aimed at evaluating the transferability potential of selected solutions.
At the end of the replication programme, the Satellite cities identified ULaaDS solutions that could be adapted and replicated within their own local contexts.
