Innovative Urban Transport Solutions – CIVITAS makes thedifference is the story of how 25 cities learned to make urban transport cleaner and better. It is intended as a critical review of the transport measures that were developed and implemented during the CIVITAS Plus. Taking a thematic approach, measures are reviewed and a set of recommendations, focusing on concrete examples, is given for each. In addition, case studies complement and offer in-depth information. The publication also takes a look at the idea of changing travel behaviour and gives an insight into the theories behind such interventions and examples of their application in CIVITAS cities.
