Zagreb's toolkit for successful consultations
The CIVITAS ELAN team in Zagreb was really active during this year`s European Mobility Week. One of the activities was the presentation of a toolkit on organising successful consultations.
'Involving stakeholders: Toolkit on organising successful consultations' provides high-quality guidance when there is a need of including different groups of stakeholders in mobility issues. The CIVITAS publication was translated into Croatian by ODRAZ – Sustainable Community Development. It also needed to be adapted to the local conditions, so the team included some examples and recommendations from the ELAN experience in Zagreb during the past four years of the project. As such, it sums up the project's valuable experience in involving stakeholders in various mobility issues in Zagreb. Transport practitioners, who are the main target group of this toolkit, will have the opportunity to learn from the experience of CIVITAS ELAN in conducting a series of meetings on the following issues: Safety and security in public transport: with elderly citizens in senior citizens' homes throughout Zagreb; Mobility in designated Zagreb neighbourhoods: with citizens and representatives of community boards on neighbourhood level; and Ideas of a future intermodal corridor in Zagreb: with citizens and other interested stakeholders.
