Four local primary schools have become involved in the CIVITAS project in Monza. In order to raise the awareness of students, parents and teachers about the benefits of pedestrian home-school mobility and testing of forms of sustainable home-school mobility, workshops with pupils have been organised. 800 families were also surveyed about their mobility behaviour as part of the city’s ARCHIMEDES project. Future plans are the collection and analysis of the survey results and the study development to analyze pedestrian flows towards the schools and to design pedestrian paths.
