Promoting the Bicycle Mobility Master Plan in Vitoria - Gasteiz

CIVITAS Initiative

The Town Hall of Vitoria-Gasteiz has started a dissemination campaign to promote the use of the bicycle in the city, as part of the Bicycle Mobility Master Plan recently approved. The objectives of the Bicycle Mobility Master Plan are to encourage people to use the bicycle as a means of transport, to reduce the use of the car, to integrate the bicycle and the rest of the means of transport in the city and to develop infrastructures for the bicycle.

The dissemination campaign of the bicycle, under the slogan “Take your bike out”, will show to the people how the bicycle can have several uses in the city. Some of these uses will be promoted separately in several sub-campaigns that will be developed in the course of the next year.
