New Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform
The Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform is a new forum that will gather and streamline the valuable feedback of stakeholders at local level, that is: your feedback!
The forum's ultimate goal is to support the further shaping of the highly ambitious Smart Cities and Communities Initiative, which has been launched in June 2011. Smart Cities and Communities will build on existing efforts such as CONCERTO, and will complement ongoing initiatives including CIVITAS, the Covenant of Mayors, and the Green Digital Charter Europe. The feedback you submit through the Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform will strengthen the ability of the initiative to meet the needs of European cities in the areas of energy, transport, ICT, water & waste management, and associated societal challenges.
