Mobility Centre welcomed visitor #3,000

The Integrated Mobility Centre in Brno has welcomed its 3,000th visitor since it opened its doors on 19 September 2011.

Om 16 January 2012, the Integrated Mobility Centre (IMC) in Brno welcomed visitor number 3,000 at their stall at the well-known meeting spot "Under the clocks". The IMC team was so happy to get such a high number of visitors since the official opening ceremony on CIVITAS day, 19 September 2011, as part of European Mobility Week, that it gave the lucky visitor #3,000 presents and CIVITAS ELAN promotional material. But how did the IMC manage to attract so many visitors? It’s simple. Visitors of the IMC are provided with information on many modes of transport, all in one place. This includes public transport in Brno, the South Moravian Integrated Transport System, individual transport such as parking, road closures and entering the city, as well as information on non-motorised transport in Brno such as cycling paths, pedestrian zones and inline skating, to name a few. IMC staff assists clients in choosing the best tariff and offer tourist information about Brno, as well as tips for trips to the surrounding area. There is an easy to use touch screen ticket vending machine, as well. The CIVITAS ELAN team now hopes to welcome its 5,000th visitor very soon. The lucky person will be showered in presents and promotional materials, as well. Come to the Integrated Mobility Centre on Joštova street! It is open every day from 9:30 to 18:00.
