Leading cities in sustainable mobility called upon to share knowledge
In supporting the take-up of sustainable urban mobility measures, the CIVITAS Activity Fund is looking for leading 'pioneer' cities to share experiences and knowledge with ‘learning’ take-up cities who apply to one of four competitive calls run by the Activity Fund between 2014 and 2015.
For the forthcoming call for the Activity Fund later this year, CIVITAS CAPITAL is looking for interested pioneer cities with experience in mobility management, car-independent lifestyles, public involvement and collective passenger transport. The pioneer cities will be mentioned in the catalogue of measures that accompanies the Activity Fund call.
Interested cities can send an outline their topics of interest and the measures that they have implemented, as well as a short motivational letter, to Ivo Cré at the Activity Fund Secretariat, icre [at] polisnetwork [dot] eu. The deadline for submission is 10 September 2014.
Pioneer cities will be reimbursed for working time and travel, and activities in the next call are expected to take place in spring 2015. For more information, contact Ivo Cré, icre [at] polisnetwork [dot] eu.
