Interest in CIVITAS ELAN at Zagreb Energy Week 2012
The ELAN team in Zagreb has presented some of the ELAN activities of the past three-and-a-half years at this year's Zagreb Energy Week. Visitors of the event were very interested in and approached the team with many questions. They were also keen to learn about the concrete results achieved through CIVITAS in Zagreb.
Especially the electronic ticketing system that is currently undergoing a major transformation was drew a lot of attention. The event provided a good occasion for face-to-face interaction between representatives from Zagreb Municipal Transit System and public transport users, for collecting feedback and suggestions. The topic in focus was carpooling. Ivan Grgurević from the Faculty of Traffic and Transport Sciences in Zagreb presented Car-for-all, a web application for carpoolers.
