Genoa mobility interviews
Thanks to CIVITAS CARAVEL project, within the measure “Integrated Mobility Plan for San Martino Hospital” in Genoa, in December 2005, 1.000 mobility interviews have been carried out, in the area of the major hospital of the city.The interviews have been addressed not only to people working in the hospital area, but also to all the clients and users, such as visitors or relatives, students and researchers of the medicine university and laboratories, in order to obtain useful information about their transport habits.The results of this survey will be presented during 2006.
The survey that has been carried out was directed to people going for working and studying near or in the hospital. 1.000 interviews were performed, 750 to people going to the hospital and 250 to students and people near the university area. The updating of the data collection document is in progress. Data from the survey will be used to create the baseline indicators for the evaluation of the measure. Visit CIVITAS CARAVEL Genoa website
