CIVITAS day in Zagreb
On Saturday 18 September 2010 in Zagreb’s Technical Museum CIVITAS day was marked as part of the city’s European Mobility Week 2010 activities.
CIVITAS day started with presentation of Višnja Jelić Mück from ODRAZ - Sustainable Community Development \CIVITAS ELAN and citizens\ and conversation with citizens. This presentation was followed by Jadranka Veselić Bruvo, Head of City Office for Strategic Planning and Development of the City, who presented awards to the top three winners of the city’s photo competition entitled \Travel smarter, live better\. The jury chose from 44 images by the 20 photographers who participated in the highly competitive contest. The final CIVITAS activity of the day was presentation by Damir Širola on the Public bicycle system. The presentation was followed by a discussion session where many interesting and probing issues were examined by those in attendance.Details about photo competition can be found on Zagreb website
