CIVITAS Activity Fund - summary of awarded proposals

CIVITAS Initiative

The CIVITAS Initiative provides inspiration to cities and towns interested in achieving a more sustainable, clean and energy efficient urban transport system, by implementing and showcasing ambitious sets of technology and policy based measures. Funding opportunities for smaller projects are made available through a dedicated CIVITAS Activity Fund, which regularly opens Calls for Applications. A summary of the awarded proposals from the first and second call are now available!

CIVITAS does not only fund large demonstrations (i.e. the CIVITAS I, II and PLUS projects) but also smaller projects meant to promote the concrete up-take of the CIVITAS principles and facilitate the building up of critical mass and markets for innovation. The CIVITAS Activity Fund intends to both, first to ensure participation to the activities designed, organised and handled by the project partners (e.g. technical workshops, study tours, etc.) and secondly co-finance activities promoted by the take-up cities, through dedicated Calls for Applications.Whatever the nature of these activities, the common denominator is that they are always undertaken for the benefit of the take-up cities. Please find herewith summary reports of awarded proposals for the CIVITAS Activity Fund:Summary of awarded proposals - 1st call: DownloadSummary of awarded proposals - 2nd call: DownloadAs the evaluation of the 3rd call is currently in ongoing, a summary of the awarded proposals will be available in a few weeks.Click here to learn more about the CIVITAS Activity Fund!
