Car sharing improved in Monza

CIVITAS Initiative

Two additional cars have been added to the car sharing scheme in Monza. The idea of the service is to provide a car to people who do not have their own, and to encourage a lower percentage of car ownership.

In order to offer citizens the opportunity to use a car without having to own one, two new cars (one in District 4 and one in District 5) have been added to the existing two in District 1 of the town. 19 new subscriptions to the service have been activated (April 2009).A marketing strategy study aimed to show advantages of car sharing and to increase the number of subscriptions to the service will be issued.
