Action in Potenza
Potenza, sensitive to the themes of sustainable mobility, with SMILE wants to enhance its policies in this direction, creating a Mobility Centre with the help of the main local institutions and companies. Citizens will be involved in different dissemination activities.
Potenza will develop two main actions: 1. Realization of Mobility Management policies 2. Implementation of clean vehicles within the local bus fleet.Mobility Management policies will include:The creation of the Potenza Mobility Centre and Mobility Offices within companies and organization involved in Smile.The implementation of a web site concerning Potenza mobility system.The introduction of two new transport services: “car pool” and “DRTS” service for people going to the center from the peri-urban zones;The organization of training courses for personnel involved in Mobility Management activities;The organization of conferences and seminars about sustainable mobility in schools and work sites.The organization of the Mobility Day event in order to involve local citizens and authorities. Realization of two survey campaigns to gather information on mobility of workers, students and shoppers in Potenza.
