Training on Social Inclusion (22/03/2012)

CIVITAS MODERN and CIVITAS VANGUARD held a training workshop on social inclusion in urban transport and mobility systems. The focus was on different target groups, existing factors of exclusion (physical, geographical, economic, time-based, fear-based) and how they can be remedied.
The training workshop provided:
- Theoretical background on social inclusion;
- The opportunity to exchange knowledge with experienced urban transport professionals; and
- Inspiring case studies from across Europe showing innovative approaches in the field of social inclusion.
