This conference aimed to share best practice developed in a number of sustainable transport initiatives throughout Europe. This was an ideal opportunity for expert speakers to relate their knowledge and experience of a variety of projects. The event featured a range of presentations, with some interactive sessions, on:

- urban design
- multi-modal travel information
The Rt. Hon. Rosie Winterton MP and Eleni Kopanezou of the European Commission spoke, as well as officially opened the Adelphi Quarter Clear Zone in the City.Blue Sky, Green Transport - Creating the Climate for Change, formed part of the first day of the conference, focusing on developing a UK & Ireland CIVITAS Cities Concordat.
