Effective solutions for green urban transport - Learning from CIVITAS cities(Athens)

Second of a series of four, this workshop brought together participants to learn about effective solutions for green urban transport based on experiences from CIVITAS cities.Â
The event took place on 24 April, 2012 in Athens in parallel to the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2012. It presented achievements and results of cities in two thematic area: ITS and demand management strategies. All presentations are available in the download section below.
Participants had the possibility to learn more about CIVITAS and were informed of how they can replicate CIVITAS city successes in their own city contexts. Â A lively debatefollowed the presentations and contributed to the success of the workshop.
In addition, during the Transport Research Arena 2012 CIVITAS hosted a special session on "Sustainable Mobility in Action with CIVITAS: Innovative mobility solutions for sustainable urban transport in Europe". The session focused on the role of evaluation within the variuos CIVITAS phases.
