Research in alternative fuels is rapidly becoming interdisciplinary. The goal of the conference was to bring together people from a variety of disciplines in order to promote modern technology to reduce harmful air pollution and the dependence on mineral diesel market. The experts, researchers, and practitioners who wanted to share their knowledge as well as theoretical and practical experience, related to alternative fuels, were invited to join us in Maribor. In addition to fostering research collaboration, this conference aimed to enhance technology transfer to industry.The topics of the conference were:
