Summary

MeetingSphere is the leading maker of workshop software which is available both installed and from the Cloud. Use of MeetingSphere ranges from Fortune 500 corporations and government agencies to ‘big-four’ consultancies, with workshops conducted in the course of managing projects being a prominent use case.

With MeetingSphere project managers, business analysts and municipal staff can take their projects and meetings (even with citizens) on line. When asked what they value about MeetingSphere they typically respond:

  • Not having to meet face to face for getting results
  • Easier scheduling, with lower barriers to participation of the “right” people
  • Tools that support every step in a workshop agenda
  • Easy reuse of successful workshops through templates
  • Efficiencies of digitalisation
  • Automatic documentation and easy export of data

In many cases, workshops are still face to face to allow for paper facilitation techniques. MeetingSphere digitalises these workshops, which – put simply – enables business analysts and project professionals to do twice as much in half the time with a better result. These features can also be used for citizen participation processes.

Good Example

Public Consultation, for instance: ‘Perspectief voor Nederland’ initiated by Rabobank and De Maatschappij, Meetingsphere proved to be a very supportive tool for the fifteen regional meetings Rabobank and De Maatschappij organised to collect thoughts and ideas about how a vast variety of people envision the world in the year 2050. Each group generated hundreds of ideas, categorised these ideas into 10 different trends and discussed the topics that they found interesting in terms of local opportunities and challenges.
