Prague (Czechia)

Prague is the capital city of Czechia, and the political, economic, industry, and research hub of central Europe. Sitting on the Vltava river and home to numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites, the city welcomes more than 3 million tourists annually. Since the launch of a Sustainable Mobility Plan in 2016, the city has welcomed a number of new trolleybus and tram lines, as well as established a single metropolitan integrated system. In 2024, the city published the Strategic plan of the city of Prague, which outlines a number of sustainable mobility goals for the period 2025-2030, including establishing new metro, tram and trolleybus lines, the completion of cycling routes, the installation of additional charging points for electric vehicles and the construction of a number of bridges.
