Kozani (Greece)

Kozani, located in Western Macedonia, Greece, is actively working toward a more sustainable future, with a strong focus on mobility and transport. As part of its commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2030, the city has introduced several initiatives aimed at reducing emissions.

One of the most notable projects is the development of Greece’s first Green Hydrogen Refuelling Station, promoting zero-emission transportation. Kozani is also investing in electric vehicles (EVs) for municipal services and enhancing the city’s infrastructure with solar-powered EV charging stations. These efforts are aligned with the city's broader sustainability strategies, including engaging the public in climate-friendly practices during initiatives like the Climate Neutral Week.
