Turin (Italy)

Turin, Italy's fourth-largest city, is actively pursuing sustainable mobility to enhance urban transport and reduce environmental impact. The city aims to achieve a 50% modal share for sustainable transport modes, as outlined in its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP). In 2013, Turin approved its strategic cycling mobility plan with the goal of achieving a 15% modal share for bicycles by 2020.

Recently, the city participated in the HARMONY project, which uses transport modeling to evaluate the impact of new public transport infrastructures and policies, supporting integrated and sustainable mobility solutions.
