As it approaches its first birthday, CIVITAS PARK4SUMP can look back on a successful first year.
Park4SUMP aims to help cities integrate innovative parking management solutions into Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) for a better mobility and quality of life.
Starting in Umea in the week of last year’s CIVITAS Forum, PARK4SUMP has managed a survey on parking and SUMP and has established its parking audit tool (PARKPAD) – currently tested and deployed in the 16 PARK4SUMP cities.
If your project faces challenges relating to parking, Park4SUMP and its partners can be of inspiration and support.
A SUMP practitioners brief has been composed on parking: ‘Parking and SUMP: a perfect match’. Note this is a draft version - the final version will be published at this year's CIVITAS Forum Conference!
In addition, a series of videos have also been created that highlight experiences in Ghent (Belgium), Vitoria Gasteiz (Spain), Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Krakow (Poland) and Sofia (Bulgaria) - all PARK4SUMP partner cities.
