Integrated Mobility Centre opened in Brno!

The Integrated Mobility Centre was opened in Brno on 19 September 2011, on CIVITAS Day. It is a new kind of service for citizens that is unprecedented in Brno.

The Integrated Mobility Centre (IMC) will provide citizens and visitors with transport information. Employees of the IMC have online access to the transport information of the public transport operator and of the coordinator of the integrated transport in South Moravia Region. This enables them to inform passengers with up-to-date information and of any recent changes. Information about cycling and parking is available, as well. In the future, the IMC will also cooperate with the car sharing organisation. Part of the IMC is a new ticket vending machine where you can also buy tickets by credit card. The idea of IMC was developed within the CIVITAS ELAN project in Brno.
