CIVITAS Forum 2014 - Presentations and pictures are now available online!
For the first time ever, the CIVITAS Annual Conference was held outside Europe and took place in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, from 23-26 September.
The choice of Casablanca as the host of the CIVITAS Forum 2014 formally seals the partnership in the urban mobility field between the CIVITAS initiative and transport project stakeholders in the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (EUROMED).
Highlights of this year's events included site visits across Casablanca to admire the city's progress in sustainable urban mobility, as well as a brokerage event built on the CIVITAS 2020 calls for 2015 and offered stakeholders opportunities to develop new partnerships. A multitude of engaging sessions took place on a variety of subjects, including clean vehicle strategies, shared cycling, clean urban freight, road safety, urban design, and the future of public transport.
